Leviathan

Leviathan is a dread demon that was vanquished originally by Archangel Metatron and Archangel Raphael eons ago. Since then, it has returned to Earth every 125 years, only to be vanquished again by Metatron and Raphael or their nephilim decendents before it could do much harm or make any progress in its desire to control all the world. As a dread demon, Leviathan thrives on chaos and destruction, and if allowed to roam Earth it will eventually destroy all of mankind, as well as all the other mortal species. Despite always being vanquished relatively quickly, Leviathan still attempts to return to Earth each time it regains enough power, often utilizing minions or allies to prepare the world for its return. So far none of Leviathan's efforts have been effective, but it may only be a matter of time before it outsmarts the nephilim and their network of allies.
