The Antichrist

History

Due to Archangel Lucifer's status as the only Fallen archangel, all his children are looked at negatively by other nephilim who have continued their mission to push monotheistic religions that worship God. These nephilim born of Lucifer are deemed to be "the antichrist," a term coined by nephilim focused on pushing Christian-based practices. The term "christ," often associated with the nephilim known as Jesus, the child of Archangel Gabriel, is similar to the term "messiah," both meaning "anointed." These terms were used as words of praise when referring to Jesus and other nephilim. However, due to Lucifer's status as a Fallen archangel, his nephilim offspring are deemed to be completely counter to the nephilim born of the Blessed archangels, regardless of their actions. Therefore, they are often called "the antichrist" by other nephilim and those connected to them.

Cultural Reception

All children of Archangel Lucifer are considered to be the antichrist, a title imposed on them by others. It is assumed that they will destroy and cause harm, despite the fact that Lucifer himself stands for love, justice, reason, and equality. Lucifer's children tend to have angelic abilities related to fire, light, and enlightenment, and stand for the same values are Lucifer even without his instruction. These are dangerous ideas for many of the nephilim born of the Blessed archangels, dedicated as they are to pushing modern-day religions to the masses, and so they often seek to hunt down Lucifer's children to protect their own power. One such nephilim-run organization known to do this is the Destroyers of the Antichrist for God. This results in Lucifer placing protections around the very few children that he has in the hopes that they will be able to live out positive lives on Earth.
