Carndroth
"Not all of hell is a putrid wasteland. Parts are decievingly beautiful"
Geography
Unlike the other plains of hell, Carndroth features a vast, lush green landscape with blue sparkling lakes, snow covered mountaintops and rolling hills for as far as the eyes can see. The winds here are fresh, the air sweet and clean with a star speckled cloudless ever nightfallen sky that nearly light up the world as well as any sun.
Ever changing, with vast seas spanning from the shores to the worlds end, to rivers that seem to change shape for every year. Carndroth has both salt and sweetwater, as clean as it could come, with fresh glaciers that surround the edge to the abyss like great walls.
Ecosystem
The enviroment seems to always be a pleasant temperature, which would defy the logical laws of physics. The animals and plants that live here never hunt or forage from one another, as plant and meat based creatures alike0 feed from energies that directly radiate from the stars. Thus, an odd sense of peace always linger around Carndroth, one that by all means should be impossible.
Ecosystem Cycles
Within Carndroth, the four seasons reign with colourfull bliss. During the autumn, the colours of life are always warm and shining, with plantbased spores shining like gems going wild. During the summer all seem to shimmer with silver and gold, and the animals roam free in the wilds. During the autumn, fruits so sweet grow from bushes and trees, only for the demons within to pluck from the branch. During this period, all the leaves glow in all colours from yellow to red to brown. Lastly reign winter, creating a fairytale like snowland. Though it is always warm enough for the inhabitants to wander even without clothes, should they like.
Localized Phenomena
Ever so often, starshowers appear on the sky. It's usually a weekly phenomena which is believed to represent good luck.
History
Why exactly the plains of hell exists, how they came to be and what their history is, is a mystery many believe will never be solved. Carndroth however has never been a place of pain or suffering, unlike the other realms that seem to be broken beyond any redemption. Carndroth however has always been a place of peace and love, where the inhabitants get to live out their immortal days in a form of paradise.
Popular belief within the tales of Carndroth that have reached the mortal realms have the people believe that the realm might be some form of redemption realm. A place where those unfit heaven though yet heroic in life go, or that those whom suffered in life and had to embrace evil deeds to survive are granted another chanse in the afterlife.
Another belief is that hell in truth is another world, akin to Arcathia which was obliterated by a careless usage of magic, that Carndroth was created by this lost race to form a paradise from the ruins of a lost world.
