Nugrah The Decrepit

In his youth, Nugrah belonged to the Green Faith, but when his wife died in childbirth, Nugrah turned his back on that order. He turned to a forbidden ritual and killed a fellow druid in an ill advised attempt to trade his wife's death for theirs. When his transgression was discovered, the Green Faith banished Nugrah from the order, only sparing his life so that he could care for his infant son. Nugrah converted to worship of Gozreh, finding solace in the violence and impassive cruelty of nature.
In the years that followed, Nugrah blamed his son for his misfortunes and treated him cruelly, often beating him, leaving him outside in the winter, and making halfhearted murderous attempts. Once, Nugrah doused his son with acid, permanently scarring his face. His son was so ashamed, that he covered his face with a burlap sack for years.
One night, their relationship changed. Nugrah's son had become a man capable of besting Nugrah and scarred by his treatment at Nugrah's hands. After beating him nearly to death, Nugrah's son imprisoned him, and now leaves him alive only to inflict upon him the same tortures he once inflicted upon his son. Now, Nugrah lives in fear of the Stag Lord's infrequent visits in the cellar of his son's fort.
