Temple of the Elk

Once a small but well tended shrine to Erastil, the Temple of the Elk has stood abandoned for centuries. The last keeper of the shrine became unstable after they admitted that the Stolen Lands would not be conquered and that the monsters of the region had won. They lured a grizzly bear to the altar and sacrificed it in the name of "any who would answer the call". The Keeper's lack of faith in Erastil proved to be their undoing, and their fall from grace culminated in Erastil cursing them to posess the remains of the bear and to guard the shrine until they were slain.
The temple consists of a small altar to Erastil and a pool of clean, clear water. The guardian of the shrine was slain by the Silver Dicks.
