Static // Bolt
"It pains me to admit, but the purist cities of Etherium can't survive without the aid of the Veil.
Even our flying capital Scamall would be dead in the sky without their aid.
Who else can generate enough electricity but a Livewire to supply the demand of a city without an industrial support grid?"Calces, Demigod of Industry
The power to harness the static powers of the Veil to create lightning is already for centuries, together with pyromancy, considered as the lifeblood of civilisation. Even the tribes of Stiria have dedicated Witchdoctors, who act as the backbone lf their medical prowess. Electromancers are welcomed additions to any community and therefore is this symbiosis one of the most popular, only toppled by Strength due to its even more general abilities.
Electromancers identify themselves regarding the colour of their bolts, signifying the focus the mage took in overstretching their mind unlocking new gates.
The colour of electricity tells much about the electromancer standing in front of you. They are a representation of their personality.Saying
Gold // Green
Users of the golden arc are masters of their very own mastery, having not dabbled into any of the other gates of the veil. They are able to reach the highest amounts of volt period and are predestined in becoming a Livewire being controllable enough to harness the juice running through their body without having to worry about secondary effects affecting the machine.
It is also quite beloved by the nobility due to its royal shine.
One of the most commonly pursued colour of lighting is green, which is achieved to devotion in understanding the gate of spring. The goal of green lighting is the protection of oneself. While the golden colour is powerful, it is also taxing on one's own body, bypassing the symbiotically acquired conductivity resistances. Green electromancers are always bound to the earth, having achieved conscious grounding to direct any electricity past vital organs through the nervous system into the soil below. Those pursuing this subclass sacrifice some of the top intensity to live a stable and grounded life. They however have way too low degrees of power to use their gift to make money.
Blue // Red
Azure-blue lighting is by far the most common colour people tend to see when interacting with electromancers. The so-called cold electricity combines the ability to harness static and apply it without causing too much damage. It is a beloved marriage between the gate of autumn and winter usually pursued by artificers and masseurs due to its low risk of danger interacting with fine machinery and living bodies. People of this colour usually have a calm personality, sometimes even kinda chilly.
The emitted bolts turn bloodred when the user dabbles into the Gate of Summer. Red lightning is the preferred specialisation for anyone who desires to weaponize their magic. The electricity is amped up in a way to achieve maximum heat and a high chance of causing a fire. Red electromancers are usually quite hot-headed as an impulsive nature eases the understanding of this secondary gate quite a bit.

Body Alterations
Undergoing a symbiosis with a Wisp is a quite shocking experience, given them being fully made out of electricity. The symbiosis with these small critters has an immediate effect on one's body kickstarting physical mutations to bear their presence. The skin of an electromancer has slight rubbery properties, isolating the arcanist against their own powers. These properties stretch to every visible body part, including the very eyes.
Furthermore, even the inner organs of the mage receive a slight redecorating mutation bolstering the squishy bits against the static prowess coursing through the body.
"The skin of an electromancer is fascinating. Despite being clearly rubbery, it feels as organic as it would feel unaltered. Further investigations are required, maybe we can find some use out of these genetic alterations."Noctec scientist
