Into the Wasp's Nest

The Heroes have met with Laria Longroad and have agreed to help her investigate the secret hideout under the cafe in exchange for using it as their headquarters for the rebellion.

The Next day after meeting Laria Longroad they head down into the secret hideout underneath the Longroad Cafe.   While exploring the dark and damp hideout they found a dead body floating off the Dock that led into the sewers proper.   Jackdaw went forward to pull the body out of the water was suddenly attacked by a large albino alligator. With Jackdaw in it's jaws the rest of the Party rushed to his aid and were able to kill the alligator just before it was able to death roll and quite possibly kill Jackdaw.   Unfortunately the heroes had no time to gather their senses as barely 12 seconds later a dire corby by the name of Cough leaped out of the shadows and ferociously clawed at Kilia. however even with the surprise attack Cough was unable to stay on top for long and was down within seconds of the attack.   Ever wary at this point the group moves farther into the hideout. In the last room filled with Crate they encounters Korva Fushi and her remaining Sister.   INstead of fighting with the sisters the heroes managed to coerce them out from the shadows and talked with them.   Korva Fushi explained that they were from Riddleport and were on the run trying to escape jail time due to some murders the Cough committed. They hired Nan to help them out of the city and get to Westport. They had only planned to be in Kintargo for a few days however Nan's contact was killed on the Night of Ashes. Nan now unable to get them out of the city told the sisters that they were on their own and he was going to leave. Enraged by this they beat Nan sensles and Cough, over eager at the violence, strangled Nan to death. Unsure what to do now and with no where to go they plead with the heroes to just let them leave.   In a spark of inspiration the heroes decide to try and convince the sisters to join their cause and have them live in Kintargo. The sisters agree to join the persuasive heroes and become a team for the rebellion.   The Heroes head back up to the cafe with the Tengus in tow to tell laria and Rexus what transpired.
