Aria Park Protest

The day dawns with a light drizzle as dozens of Kintargans gather at the northern end of Aria Park, across the street from the opera house, to protest the paracount and his proclamations.

The soon to be Silver Ravens attended the Aria Park Protest. Three with the intent to meet with a mysterious contact who wished to talk to them about actually doing something about this invasion. The other, with good intentions, decided to check out the scene to see if there was anything to do. Several hours into the protest The bells of Asmodeus rang and Barzilai Thrune revealed himself.   Barzilai Held the entire crowds attention with a small speech about how he understood their concerns and wish to help them and reach an understanding.   To start in the correct direction Barzillai Issued an Eighth Commandment which restricted the Captians of Ships from leaving their confined upon the excruciation of Squassation.   The crowd realizing this did not help them at all flew into a rage.   Kilia instigating the Riot throws a stone at Barzillai ,which unfortunately misses but does succeed in Barzillai spilling wine over his Armor.   In a Rage he orders Nox and his soldier to "take care of these ruffians."   As the Soldiers advanced another person from the crowd throws a Dagger at Nox hitting her directly in the throat.   The heroes torn between fighting and fleeing manage to take down a few of the Militia before ultimately fleeing to escape Incarceration.   As they Rush through the streets and alleys to make their escape They run into another group of militia harrassing a man that was wearing one glove on his right hand (the man they were to meet at the protest.)   After scarring off some of the militia and defeating the others they learn the man is Named Rexus Victocora, a Noble of the city who has recently fallen on hard times.   The Move off with Rexus to a near by Book store (Crissali's Fine Tomes) where they can talk in piece. During their discussion Rexus explains that on the Night of Ashes he was approached by a Halfling with a note from his mother. The note explained that she was most likely dead and that she was working on uncovering information about the Silver Ravens. She was partially successful and was able to find out about a abandoned hide out of the Ravens. She requests Rexus to go there and find what he can as well as do his best to bring back the Silver Ravens and help free Kintrargo if Basrzillai's Rule.   Rexus had kept an eye out for sympathetic people looking to help Kintargo and that is why he wished to meet with our heroes.   After Rexus asked for their help they agreed to investigate the hideout on the morrow to see what they could find.
