Expulsion of the Boann

The Boann fell from their haven on the moon and toppled to the earth. Heartbroken at the loss of their homeworld, matroness Elaran tore out her own eyes so she did not have to look upon this mortal world and replaced them with two perfectly rounded moonstones. Her daughters have followed suit by wearing all manner of blindfolds and masks to hide their eyes. They will remove their eye coverings when they finally return home.
