Westorin

A small settlement at the westernmost edge of the world.

Demographics

Almost all of this village is populated by humans, halflings, or gnomes. There is almost no wealth in the village and their is no upper class. Many of the population are farmer while other are smiths, cobblers, glassblowers, and other merchants and craftsmen.

Government

The settlement is ran by a lord mayor appointed by the lord of the land. He delegates different jobs for members of the city and ways to keep the settlement afloat. The lord mayor doesn't control much beyond that with the villagers building where they want and doing pretty much whatever outside of work

Defences

A force of twelve profesional guards guard the town. Some citizens have erected a small wooden wall which can be used as a barrier. Besides the guards the only other source of defense for the village is citizen militia.

Industry & Trade

The city exports fish across nearby settlements. Being the only village in the Northwest to be near a good source of fresh fish it makes the demand for fish and other seafoods very high in demand.

Infrastructure

One inn stands alone in the center of this town. All the townsfolk gather there after dusk and eat and drink their fill after a hard days work. A dock sits at the edge of the nearby lake where fishermen go and work.

Assets

Their is a small general store at the edge of town that sells basic supplies, farming and fishings gear, but nothing that would interest typical adventurers.

Guilds and Factions

A small guild of merchants have recently moved into the growing town and are threatening the balance of power with the lord mayor and the noble he works for.

History

The city first sprang up about four years ago. Sense then it has grown to a small village off of it's prized fish.

Architecture

Most of the village's are made out of spruce wood and are constructed with practicality over looks in mind. Naturally the buildings looks very bland and similar side by side.

Geography

A lake at the city's Southeastern edge provides water and fresh fish. The sun sets over the western shore illuminating the ocean and the fields for miles around with orange light at dusk.

Natural Resources

Wheat from the fields to the west, fish from the lake to the Southeast, and game from the forest to the north. Most of the resources here can be found easier elsewhere but are all the city has to stay afloat in a rapidly advancing world
