Devils
Devils are one of the types of native creatures to the Divine Realm of Eodra. The majority of them often act as servants of dark aligned gods: Malyc, Agaura, Glomm, and Galmachis. However, some defy that service and act of their own volition. Devils draw much of their own power directly from their creator deities, and almost always exist in a form closely associated with their creator.
A common species of Glommite devil is a Djinn. While many serve the deity, they also act of their own accord, granting wishes and twisting them for their own gain. The true form of Djinn remain a mystery, as they are creatures capable of changing their shape, often shifting to be something their victims would find appealing or unassuming.
A common species of Galmachian devil is the Death Herald. These appear as ghostly white wraiths with expressionless faces. Some carry a sword or sickle. They do not speak and stalk their targets. Death Heralds that act in service to Galmachis are usually sent to collect the spirits of the recently deceased, or ensure that someone dies when their time has come.
A common species of Agauran devil is the Aniphage. These creatures take the form of feathery-winged humanoids, bearing heavy symbolic scarification and mutilation. In rarer cases, they appear more birdlike than human. They are primarily carrion feeders and have been sighted on abandoned battlefields.
A common species of Malycite devil is the Diavos. The Diavos is likely the most commonly seen devil around the world and what most associate with the depiction of a devil. A Diavos is the humanoid creature with leather wings, horns, and lightning-shaped veins across their bodies. These devils are often mistaken for demons, who sometime carry a similar appearance.
