Gelatinous Cube

A magical aberration often resembling an approximate six-foot squared cube of greenish translucent material. The material is a conglomeration of magical energies and a mailable goo that pull anything it touches inward towards its center. A living creature that is absorbed into a Gelatinous cube will typically die of suffocation in less than a minute. Softer materials like skin, organs, and blood slowly breaks down and disappears, while other harder materials like metal, or bone take much longer for the creature to digest and process into raw magic.
Gelatinous Cubes tend to lash out a nearby target with tendrils, attempting to snag them and draw them closer for consumption. The creature itself is otherwise very slow to move. Attacking it with physical weapons tend to be of little use as most of the time the weapon is instead snagged and drawn inside of it.
