Mummies
A mummy is a form of ritually created undead, similar to a lich, wherein the caster subjects themself to a ritualistic desiccation of the body. At minimum, the heart is placed in a vessel, where more powerful mummies remove further organs. Mummies, unlike liches, are not always powerful casters. Most mummies show incredible forms of physical prowess, undaunted by wounds suffered to their body.
One of the most defining features of a mummy is their festering death rot. A mummy can enhance the supernatural decaying of their body as a form of attack that instantly kills anyone it would touch. Another common trait in mummies is that many inflict their killers with a curse. Each curse is unique to the mummy and manifested during the ritual to create the mummy and curing it is equally unique.
