Scaremortal

The Scare Mortals are Fallow’s most unique creations, something he invented and seem to be his favorite type of abomination. They guard the Fields on their perches, lurching off with horrific speed at their targets should anyone ever dare step onto his lands. They are primarily stealthy abominations with extreme levels of intelligence, albeit, seemingly following the same uncomfortable comedic approach that Fallow himself appreciates. They are, in essence, his children. Though only spoken as rumor, some say that these actually are children. Children who wander too far into the Fields of Fallow have the souls stripped from their bodies and drawn into scarecrows to create these horrific creatures. Though retaining little to no memory of their living childhood, they ate entirely devoted to their father, Lord Fallow.
