Will o Wisp

Will o Wisps are the twisted vengeful spirits of dead faeries and faeriekin.  These aberrant creatures are generally harmless themselves, but that doesn't make them any less dangerous to those who encounter them.  Wherever there may be will o wisps, there will surely be something lethal to an adventurer close by.
Sometimes referred to as faery fire, will o wisps are like tiny lanterns in the fog who distract and confuse weary travelers, ultimately directing them to their demise in treacherous lands.  Sometimes they can be mistaken for fireflies, but the greatest distinction between them is the blue or white light that a will o wisp emits, rather than yellow or green.
