In the early years, a great battle that separated the Rat Kingdoms of Elian and Vereen was decided by the unfortunate demise of a great hero, Edrat the Quick. The Kingdom of Vereen dissolved shorty after and the Rats of Elian never forgot Edrats sacrifice for their survival.
Edrat was a Knight of Elian, and his quick thinking forced the dark swarm of Vereen to plunge into deep waters of Anune. Sadly for the plan to succeed he had to lead them into the trap.
