First Day of Man

The first sentient humanoid is placed upon the surface of Arawyn. Prior to this date only plants, animals and similar species existed. The name of the first man was Visigalis, and the first woman was named Faith. The newly formed humans call this time "The First Age".  

Visagalis and Faith were not the only humans created at this time, only the first. They were created not as children but instead as the form of young adults. Their society was primitive but the beginnings of a common language seemed inherent within them and so the common tongue was developed within a matter of mere decades.   The concept of lifespan was still foreign to the first people and so they lived a life far longer than those of current days, spanning a duration of several hundred years. The oldest recorded living human was Visigalis, who died near two hundred years of age, though it was said that he did not die at all but rather found a unique path to walk which took him to another world.   During the lives of the first people, they pro-created with one another and their numbers grew so large that they had spread out away from one another and started different communities. Although several communities were settled around the world, the most well known was the first, which was a beautiful and simple town nestled in the wooded mountains, these people were named by all others "The First Borne".
