Bivio Tree

A short tree native to Siouel world, popular among children and cooks because of its tasty seedless fruits that grow in the worst extremes of winter and summer.
For many it supposes a mystery, because it’s the only plant in Siouel that produces a pome-like seedless fruit and pods that carry up to 20 seeds that take a seemingly random time to sprout. The pods aren’t edible, and grow during spring.
This species can be planted in other worlds, but it shows different characteristics, presumably to survive in the new environment.
What most people ignore, is that the tree is one of the few magically designed species, developed by Áled, a quite versatile inventor who didn’t think of adding seeds the first time he devised the original fruit.

It was food, why would I put seeds in it? I never thought about it. He said “invent the tree” and… I don’t invent living things, okay? Some inventors do, but I don’t know how. And hey have to keep them alive anyway, and this was different. I used another tree and invented… changes… I don’t know, I’ve never done that before. Or after. I guess the pods came from the other tree.
