The Braymon
For Millenia the Braymon have found their rank in society on the Battlefield. If left to a quiet existence, they would be a long lived race. The only reason a Braymon would reach over 200 years of age, would be if they were a warrior of legendary strength.
A xenophobic giant humanoid race with a cruel system of honour, they send their young out into the world to fight and survive. Those that return a half-century later begin their real battle, within their tribe and warring between the nine remaining tribes.
Culture
Culture and cultural heritage
When the Braymon arrived on Knownworld, among the many creatures the Beastmasters held, each tribe had their monstrosity masco. These mascots are honour and represented in all aspects of the daily lives of each family, clan and tribe.
Common Customs, traditions and rituals
Gargg-Yarr. The Gargg-Yarr is a coming of age quest. When the child (usually around 15-20 years old) is able to swing a weapon, then they leave their family village to find experience in battles and wars.
Forzoc-Dern. In times of ”peace and prosperity”, the leaders of the tribes gather and organize games (like the Olympics) with battles that regularly end with fatalities for honour and prestige, for Tribe, Clan and Family.
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
Tattoos of their great hunts, battles and wars won, adorn their bodies, both men and women.
Gender Ideals
Both males and females follow a somewhat typical look of humanity but with a rough masculine cast. There is no real distinction between the two sexes apart from male facial hair and regular male/female bodily features of reproductive organs and female hips cheats.
Courtship Ideals
Both males and females search for a mate that is they're equal in battle. When the Braymon returns to their home village from their Gargg-Yarr, they need to ensure the future of the tribe, by keeping it populated. Courtship is by battle, and a successful partnership is when a battle last for an ”appropriate length of time”.
Relationship Ideals
Strength, martial prowess and a family that has performed well in the Forzoc-Dern.
