Personal history

Alvertos Flamedraft was born to the Flamedraft family. He was generally a happy child, and he grew up without much incident.
His Becoming was rough, he took a goblin arrow to the knee that gave him a limp for the rest of his life as he explored a newly opened cave in the northern quarry. He brought home a few trinkets and a goblin scalp and was dutifully adopted without difficulty into the Flamedraft family that birthed him.
He was officially made magistrate three years after the last one died, as in the intervening time folks came to rely on his wisdom and judgement.
