Commonism
Commonism – There are no rules to govern what’s right or wrong per se, but people have a natural instinct to recognize it and everyone knows how they should behave. Looking at an action or situation, one just 'knows' by instinct what the right thing or at least what the wrong thing is.
This is the philosophy regularly followed by commoners. It's a philosophy for people unconcerned with philosophy and more concerned with just doing what makes sense.
STRENGTHS – Encourages decisiveness in decision making, avoids crippling ethical conundrums.
WEAKNESS – “Right and Wrong” become largely subjective.
EXAMPLES – The farmer who just knows when to reshod a horse and when to put it down, the laborer who knows he’s being mistreated but couldn’t tell you exactly how.
