Folk Magic
Magic isn't just the purview of those with demonic blood or pacts, or access to fantastical libraries larger on the inside than the out. Grannies put mistletoe under their infant grandchildren's cribs to ward off faerie kidnappers, just about everyone uses juniper tea for luck, and many an unpopular villager has numerous curse tablets buried about their property.
There are dozens, perhaps hundreds of such practices. Whether there are any that work is a matter of thaumatological debate.
