Georima

Georimas are fault line portals to the Elemental Plane of Earth. They typically exist far below the surface, having produced enough magma, dirt, and rock to completely bury themselves. They are the roots of mountains, the seed of islands, and the birthplace of continents. When particularly active, they can cause earthquakes and rockslides.

Manifestation

Georima appear as dark cracks, usually around either seams in the ground and at the heart of veins of metal. They are often magnetic, attracting iron to themselves when miners dig close enough. Miners will typically redirect their shafts to follow these signs, as the swirling veins of metal are extraordinarily often extremely bountiful.

Localization

Many of the closest georima in Seaudyr are beneath the Barrier Mountains.
