Goober

“Biters” – Goobers are greenskins made by accident. A natural effect of a legion or horde’s long or repeated encampment in an area, they spring up from the offal pits. Where goblin are petty and spiteful, goobers simply take enormous glee in the suffering of others. Due to their origins and demeanor, they are also called “smagahuta”, which roughly translates to “little shit.” They have no intentional purpose in greenskin society and no place in the legion. They are considered pests and an occasionally dangerous nuisance. Greenskin settlements use them as waste management and occasionally food, and orc tribes will use them much the same way as hobgoblins use goblins, though to much lesser effect.   Goobers are born with certain knowledge that make them viable from birth. They know how to fashion armor and weapons out of the most useless trash, and they know instinctively the weak spots of inanimate objects. Goobers are genderless, springing like fungal bodies from greenskinoffal pits and latrines. Goobers, on the rare occasion that they wander alone, almost always do so looking to cause mischief. They most enjoy explosions and destroying complex things, both of which make them especially loathed by gnomes.

Ideals

Beauty Ideals

Goobers are gray, green, or brown. If they have hair, it’s usually black to red and stringy. They have beady little eyes that reflect red in the dimmest light, tiny button noses that would be cute if not for the cavernous maw beneath. Their mouths dominate their oversized head, nearly splitting them in half when they smile. They have rows upon rows of needle-like teeth that roll forward when lost like a shark’s.
