Halfling Partisan Kit

Halfling Partisans bring their own kit to battle, and it is far from standardized. That being said, they so have cultural tendencies and traditions towards certain weapons. They normally favor light armor, usually felt on rawhide leather armor, and colors that allow them to blend in.   There are four stereotypical Halfling partisan types, though in truth they freely mix and match the kit based on the terrain and their exact mission.
Beetlemugs are heavier troops in plate or half plate. They station themselves in places that don't allow for retreat, such as in important buildings or on bridges. They arm themselves with a short sword, shield, and a blowgun with poisoned darts. They supplement their own defenses with simple, brutal traps, such as spike pits and dung bombs.
Wheelers are the most stereotypical Halfling Partisan, who arm themselves with a glader (throwing sword) and a cutlass. They hide themselves in a scattered pattern and conduct hit and run attacks.
Skyblinkers are deep-advanced scouts. They use trained birds that are native to the area to warn of approaching enemies. The birds are trained to fly in specific ways to deliver complex messages to observers in the rear. While skyblinkers avoid fighting entirely if they can, they typically carry gladers for their own defense.
Linethunkers are crossbow-weilding halflings. These array themselves next to and among Wheelers, fire off as many crossbow quarrels as they can before pulling back secondary positions, repeating until they have retreated behind the Balatar.
