Larghe (Wardog)

Basic Information
Anatomy
Larghe are specially bred wardogs. They have thick, robust bones, powerful musculature, and their skin is as tough as rawhide and hangs in loose bunches around their necks and vital organs.
Growth Rate & Stages
Like all dogs, Larghe are live birthed in litters of 5-12. They reach adulthood in 2 years.
Ecology and Habitats
Each canton has created a special breed suited to its own environment and challenges, though none are particularly uncomfortable anywhere humans can comfortably survive.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Larghe are soft carnivores. They can eat any meat, fresh or even rotten, they can eat grains, fruits, and some vegetables.
Additional Information
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
As specialty warhounds, they have sharp senses of smell and hearing for better guard duty. They are almost entirely colorblind, but they can see gradients in light and shadow more acutely than humans. This gives them excellent nightvision.
