Mizov

"Mizov led the van of the first charge in the Jerell. He spread his wings wide and absorbed all of the slings and arrows meant for his companions, and tore into the enemy lines with ferocity almost unbecoming of an angel. When the first battle was over, he allowed himself to finally die, wounded beyond survival by the primordial host.   "His obligation was not fulfilled even by his death, and Scarroh entered the land of the dead to find Mizov's soul and drag it to the veil. There, he received new orders; he was guardian of the underworld, enforcer of the laws of death, laws too complex for any mortal mind to know."   ~Canticles of the Demiurge, The First Song, Verse 41

Geography

The surface of Mizov is a smooth, featureless plain of light-absorbing darkness. The soil is soft and rubbery, like flesh, and writhes in the solar winds. Scattered around the flesh are black, glassy stones not unlike obsidian. These stones can range from pebble size to the size of a boulder. When a celestial object strikes the surface of Mizov, these stones are discharged and some end up on Kobos, where they often wear holes to the shadowfell.

Fauna & Flora

The surface of Mizov is crawling with undead elementals and the shattered, dead-but-moving remnants of angels. The horrifying remains of creatures fight constantly, warring and inflicting horrific injuries upon each other, but the negative energy of the whole place restores their flesh and bone.

Natural Resources

Mizov is the origin of darkstone, and the only place to find it stable in nature.
