Way of W'mivas-ofrh, Shadowfury

"Up and lead the dance of Fate! Lift the song that mortals hate! Tell what rights are ours on earth, Over all of human birth.     Swift of foot to avenge are we! He whose hands are clean and pure, Naught our wrath to dread hath he; Calm his cloudless days endure. But the man that seeks to hide Like him, his gore-bedewèd hands, Witnesses to them that died, The blood avengers at his side, The erinyes' troop forever stands.     O'er our victim come begin! Come, the incantation sing, Frantic all and maddening, To the heart a brand of fire, The erinyes' hymn, That which claims the senses dim, Tuneless to the gentle lyre, Withering the soul within.     The pride of all of human birth, All glorious in the eye of day, Dishonored slowly melts away, Trod down and trampled to the earth, Whene'er our dark-stoled troop advances, Whene'er our feet lead on the dismal dances.     For light our footsteps are, And perfect is our might, Awful remembrances of guilt and crime, Implacable to mortal prayer, Far from the gods, unhonored, and heaven's light, We hold our voiceless dwellings dread, All unapproached by living or by dead.     What mortal feels not awe, Nor trembles at our name, Hearing our fate-appointed power sublime, Fixed by the eternal law. For old our office, and our fame, Might never yet of its due honors fail, Though 'neath Kobos our realm in unsunned regions pale."   Developed by erinyes in service of Glasya on the flesh-splattered ruins of Malbolge and tested by the fires of battle on Avernus, the way of the shadowfury monk is one of killing, vengeance, subversion and terror. Cults of Glasya use those trained in the style as assassins, enforcers, avengers, and spies. The fighting style of the shadowfury monk is one of misdirection, grace, and deep and malicious injury.
Level Ability Description
3 Devil's Tongue You immediately gain proficiency in Deception. If you already have proficiency, you instead gain Expertise. You have Advantage on any Deception roll wherein you use only the truth in your lie.
3 Tools of the Trade You gain proficiency in Thieves' tools.
3 Song of Fury As bonus action, you may spend a Ki point. A character within 60 ft. of you must roll a Wisdom saving throw or become Dazed until the end of your next turn. Any attack by you that deals damage deals an extra 1d6 psychic damage to a creature Dazed in this way.
6 Malbolgean Whisper As a reaction, you may choose the target of one attack made by a creature that is Dazed by your Song of Fury ability. The new target must be within the reach or range of their attack, and the new target may be themselves. If it is themselves, you may add your Song of Fury damage to the damage for that attack.
11 Hagslayer Strike You may choose to make a subtle attack against a target. When you hit with an attack, you may choose to delay the damage by a number of rounds up to your Charisma modifier + half your Monk level. While the target has damage delayed in this manner, they are Dazed and subject to your Song of Fury and your Malbolgean Whisper abilities. If the target was Surprised by the attack, they don't perceive the attack or damage until the end of the delay.
17 Slave of Hell's Princess If a creature Dazed by one of your abilities is slain, you may spend a Ki point to use your Reaction to animate the corpse. You are aware of everything the corpse is aware of, and have full control over its actions. You gain no special knowledge of the corpse, though you may talk through it in its original voice. Any attempt to pass off the corpse as the living requires a Deception check on your part. If used in combat, it carries the stats of a standard zombie. When you finish a Long Rest, you must spend a Ki point to keep the corpse alive, otherwise it crumbles to ash with a loud shriek.
