"Confidence next time Lucian, you are correct. Jacob is a ghost, teathered to this classroom at the time of his demise. That is the main difference between a ghost and a specter. A Ghost haunts a place, a Specter haunts a person. Poltergeists are malevolent, or at the least mischievious, ghosts more able to affect the physical realm than most of their kind. A phantasm is a specter summoned with necromancy and given power to haunt a specific person, usually to their death.
