A rich merchant is found dead in his summer home after dredging up a coral reef in order to build new docks. A general dies mysteriously after ordering his army to "burn the forest out of the way." Hjulnir, First of His Name, 9th King of Bharthran is murdered after work begins on what is to be the crowning achievement of his reign, a dam to divert the Shersoll River. The investigation into King Hjulnirs death ended with the exclamation "Look, the only thing that could have POSSIBLY done the deed is the shrub in the solarium, and it hasn't been awakened, animated, or otherwise tampered with in any way that ANYONE can determine!"
Scythe, if they exist, is a skilled assassin, or group of assassins, with druidic training. Across the world there have been several assassinations over the years in which no real evidence could be found and investigations, both mundane and magical, have ended with exclamations such as "so, you expect me to think the MOUSE DID IT" or "I guess one of the horses could have unlocked his stall, stabbed him in the back, walked back into his stall and re-locked it." The only thing that is widely agreed on is that he (she, or they) operate with precision, well usually, those called Rosary arent exactly known for their lack of collateral damage. The rumored prices for their service range from a single copper piece to a land deed. Others postulate that they cannot, in fact, be hired and that they choose their targets based on threats to the natural world.
