The Pointiest Stick

Huh... so thats where it ended up.
— Jasper Cameron, Leader of the Bronze Ravens
The history of The Pointiest Stick is rather long and convoluted, so we will not go into it here, other than to say that before it was stored in the Cabinet of Boblin the goblin it had a history of showing up to help children in need.   It is, as the name would suggest, rather pointy... but it is somehow selectively pointy. A child wielding the Pointiest Stick can poke another kid in a game, and only mild discomfort will be felt the same as any other picked up branch used in a game of soldier. On the other hand there are a great number of accounts of children fending off fully armored knights and mercenaries very, very effictively. oen inch hole straight through both sides of a breastplate effictively.   The stick seems to also have some powers over the mind, as these children, who should likely suffer from battle-shock, often went on to guard or rescue other children in the city or town in question.   As already mentioned, when used in dire circumstances there is nothing the stick cannot pierce. There is actually a museum in Favortown that will pat good money for items pierced by the stick. If the rumors are to be believed thay have nearly 600 items bearing the strikingly smooth hole that the stick leavevs behind (marked, it is said, by a single magical splinter). The items range from breastplates and greaves to dragon scales and chimera hides.
