Fairies are the ever-living children of nature.
Fairies often reflect the nature around them and thus come as different types with powers to match. Different types sometimes come in contact and create shared communities to support each other.
Lake, Water & Rain Fairies: Another common fairy type found around fresh water.
Forest Fairy: A fairy type found in and around wooded areas said to inhabit the trees.
Swamp Fairy: Swamp dwelling fairies. They appear covered in mud and sticks.
Snow & Ice Fairies: Fairies that appear in cold areas.
Badland Fairy: Fairies found in deserts and dry places. They wear animal bones and are said to inhabit cacti.
Oasis Fairy: A Fairy type only found around desert oases.
Zombie Fairy: Fairies that appear around graveyards. They are not undead but appear as spirits of the dead to scare people.
Fire & Ash Fairies: Fairies found in volcanic areas and the aftermath of forest fires. Hated by other fairies for their affinity for arson.
Shadow Fairy: A rare type fairy said to have otherworldly powers.
War Fairy/Battle Fairy: Fairies that appear on battlefields and in camps. Unknown if they are their own type or just fairies caught in the middle of battles.
Dream/Sleep Fairy: Fairy type that people report seeing in their dreams. Unknown if they exist in the waking world.

Geographic Origin and Distribution
Fairies can be found anywhere that has nature, but less commonly found in cities of different races. Fairy villages can be found at the bases of large trees these referred to as faerie trees. The three largest trees and villages being The Great Faerie Tree, The Eternal Sakura Tree and The Gold Leaf Faerie Tree.
