Kathe's Death

Era beginning/end

The Ancient of Everything, Kathe, is killed by an unknown force.

When Kathe first fell, the world became silent, as though it was holding its breath. The Ancient lay on their deathbed in the center of a lake, staring up at the stars as they felt everything leaving them. They didn't know it was possible.   The other Ancients found them quickly, and wept over them. The Ancients showed their eyes filed with tears, and their lips in deep frowns or open with sobs. Even Aidia frowned, and showed their saddened eyes. When Kathe died, they fell to dust and only their bones remained. The dust of their body soaked up the water of the lake and became rich, fertile soil.
