Around 450 years ago, a significant event known as the Miracle of Zephyr occurred during the festival. Legend has it that a massive rockslide threatened the city, but a divine shield enveloped Zephyr, and not a single life was lost. This shield was said to be a cascade of musical notes and celestial energy, believed to be the protection of Celeste herself. A shard of divine marble, believed to be from Celeste's realm of Cadence, was found amidst the rubble. This event elevated the festival to a divine status, and the shard became an annual centerpiece.

• The Swift Sweep Challenge: Housekeepers compete in cleaning and arranging rooms fastest while maintaining quality. Judges, posing as guests, inspect the rooms.

• The Culinary Clash: Chefs engage in a cook-off, creating dishes from a set of ingredients common to the festival.
• The Bellhop's Relay: Bellhops engage in a relay race through an obstacle course while carrying luggage.
• Concierge Control Showdown: Leisure staff handle unusual and spontaneous requests from guests. They are scored on resourcefulness, creativity, and satisfaction.
• Comfort King/Queen: Domestic staff prepare comfortable and cozy guest rooms or suites, judged on comfort, aesthetics, and attention to detail.

The Hearth Masters' Gauntlet concludes with an award ceremony. The Inn or Tavern performing the best is crowned with the “Celestial Hearth” title, and the Hearth Master receives a token blessed by Celeste's temple.
