Beryl

Long ago, Beryl lived together with the Fejervár in the city of Harkellion. Eventually, a power-hungry group established a foothold in the city and managed to convince many of its citizens that the Fejervár was superior in all ways. After a time, this led to a long and bloody civil war, which the Beryl eventually lost. After the last battle, the remaining Beryl both literally and metaphorically washed up on the shores of Rewari where they were greeted with aid and assistance. Within a few years, they had truly integrated with Rewari society and become an integral part of it. Their wish to reclaim their city is just a foggy, feverish dream, because almost all Beryl have a deep gratitude to the Rewari for granting them a new home. Even so, the hostility between Beryl and Fejervár still persists, and if the two races encounter each other there is a high probability of trouble. Because of their lives defending the ocean floors from horrible monstrosities, Beryl are naturally protective of their allies and friends. Most commonly, Beryl are employed as honor guards to important Chwetlan dignitaries or work as coast guards, defending the shores and nearby depths from various threats.
