Cavaas

Cavaas are formed from a blend of organic and inorganic materials, usually wood, stone and metal. Inside them are cords filled with alchemical fluids, which function as their muscles. They are covered in armored plates which form a protective coating over their inner shell. The legends of the Cavaas tell of their creation. They say that they were constructed for a war that never came, built in preparation for a massive invasion. The legends tell that their creators disappeared, leaving the Cavaas seemingly without purpose and guidance While the Cavaas are made from varying materials, they are still living humanoids. This means that healing magic, medicine and resting has the same benefits as they do for other humanoids. The Cavaas can also alter their bodies while they meditate and rest. While doing this, they can change their form and reconfigure their defensive plating. The Cavaas are known for being the founders of the Surgeweavers and for their collaborative invention of Arcane Infusion, and also for their troubled past and constant skirmishes with the Ghaik and their nation of Poltenya.
