The City of Arcelia

The city of Arcelia is crowded with buildings, and the typical building has two or three stories. Although, in the Central district, you can see quite a few taller buildings. The city contains many narrow streets and alleyways, but in Central or Highshore the streets are wider for the benefit of its residents. A typical day in the city starts with seeing factory workers rushing to or from work, as many have night shifts to keep the production lines running, merchants opening their shops, carriages carrying passengers between districts, and homeless people begging in the streets. You can also see vendors selling fresh fruit or newly baked bread, and many inns and pubs are serving tea, coffee or stronger beverages to citizens who’s starting their day. Of course, this all depends on the district. The city of Arcelia contains nine different districts, each with their own feel and rhytm. Traveling from the heart of a district to another, by carriage, takes approximately half an hour. The exception to this is of course the tangled complexities of The Brambles and the vast expanse of Mistwood.
