Yamato

Powerful island kingdom on the Fifth Strand of the World of Ba'Sal . It has a rich cultural tradition.

Yamato is currently closed to all foreigners without special visas. Visitors are advised caution when visiting to check in with the Office of Foreign Registrations and Information on the Right Sorting of Garbages. Foreign traders are often restricted to the artificial island of Dejima in Edo bay.

People from Yamato call themselves Yamatojin. They speak Yamatago, often referred to by foreigners as "Yamanese."

The capital city is Edo. This is the location of the Imperial Palace and is one of the most populous and beautiful cities of the Whorl.
