Guran Zursh about the Unknown Kin incident
Do not speak about this
Dear ma leaders.
Hope this letter reaches ya at good health and I hope, this letter reaches ya.
This letter brings tidings and I hope we can do something about them. Attached to this letter ya'll find me report from the assignment given by Pederslen Lokare. Ya will hopefully see, that it is concerning.
Not only we found a city of a clan of dwarves, but we also found a city of a clan of dwarves we have no information on. Which really concerns me, but ma leaders, to be frank, more concerning I find the prison.
Me do not know how the Stonekin, we or our archives could have missed that. The entire ████████ city is wiped clean. No bones, no corpses, no tracks. Only dust. No blood whatsoever.
And whatever this thing is in the temple-prison: we should contain it again. The artifacts are strong. Trust me. I think I saw even the Scorching Axe, at least the runes and patterns fitted. To admit, I only had a few seconds to look around. Whatever Petersen killed, is now roaming the city (can ya take a look if we maybe, maaaaybe have a hint who those dwarves were and how the city is named?) and my bannisters can only do so much.
Ma leaders, I entrust that ya send the cavalry. Send me ma master and his 'prentice. We need the big catapults here. Do not speak to anyone of this. Ma not know what will happen if word gets out.
May the stone be in ya favour.
Guran Zursh
Purpose
The entire letter is a warning, an advise and an idea, send by Guran to the guild of dwarven mages and archaeologists. It is warning about the prison in the unknown city, an advise how to proceed now that the prison was opened and an idea, how to get more information out of the ruins and how to deal with the prison and the prisoner. And with the articfacts slumbering inside this prison.
After seeing your entry here, I though of another version. A letter saying they owe child maintenance for unknown kin.
You mean they had child labour in the unknown kin and Guran discovers it after a while?
As in they owe money for children they didn't know they had
Aaaaah, got it! That could be hilarious!
Brilliant for those horny bards...
