Draeconins Species in Kornax | World Anvil

Draeconins

Draeconins are the reptiles that are generally considered draconic. These include dragonborn, kobolds, drakes of all types, and, of course, dragons (material dragons, anyway).

Basic Information

Anatomy

All draeconins have certain anatomical features in common. First, all of them are three-toed reptiles. Even the

draecondae serpentis

draeconins, which have no visible legs or feet, possess vestigal legs and toes within their bodies. Similarly, all draeconins have, at a minimum, musculoskeletal wing roots, even if they don't possess visible wings.

Genetics and Reproduction

All draeconins reproduce sexually. Females lay eggs which males fertilize. Some draeconins care for their eggs and young and some do not.

Scientific Name
