The Discreet Trade

The Discreet Trade is a semi-legitimate network of smugglers and traders working from Avul. They are led by a human female named Ubvamr̂a the Fatherless.

Structure

The network operates in a semi-feudal system. Ubvamr̂a (or whomever is the guildmaster of the day) sits at the top and collects a percentage of every job. Beneath the guildmaster, there are a number of crew leaders who collect the proceeds of each contract, paying their crew members and contractors and passing the tithe on to the guildmaster from the haul. Under the crew leaders are the associates. These are members who have been made permanent crew members. Beneath them are the general members and contractors. Any smuggling that passes through Avul incurs a tithe, even when it is not conducted by a member of the Discreet Trade.
