Threlved, the Tidemistress (THREHLVD)
Divine Domains
Knowledge, Nature, Tempest
She is the patron goddess of seafarers and those fisherfolk who fish the oceans (as opposed to those who fish the fresh waters).
Holy Books & Codes
Revelations of the Tidemistress is considered canon to the Lighthouse Assembly, and nearly every sea captain keeps a copy next to their navigational charts and journals in their cabin. It is the account of an unnamed wayfarer who crossed an unnamed sea on a journey of one hundred days. He details extended passages that outline offerings he made to the Tidemistress and visitations he received from her concerning her moods, expectations of land-folk, the weather at sea, appropriate and inappropriate sacrifices to her and when they should be given, and dates of significance to her as a goddess.
Holidays
The Chaining of the Tide
This observance is held on the 15th of Bans every year, which is the most extreme low tide of the year. During the Chaining of the Tide, none who ply the sea will sail. Ships are kept in harbor and boats remain drawn up on shore. Temples of the Lighthouse Assembly hold twenty-four hour prayer vigil for the return of the tides, and the high priest or priestess offers exactly ten drops of their own blood on the altar as a sacrifice the Threlved, one for each month of the year.
The Swell of the Tidemistress
This festival of the Tidemistress is held during the Queen Tide every winter. It is a four-day event that begins at a moonrise on the first full moon of Hashmear. During the festival, those who trade on the sea set out on short voyages and pour libation offerings into the sea in Threlved's honor. The libations must be of gladgduledrur, a wine made with seawater rather than freshwater. Once the libation offering is complete, the seafarers return to their local shrine or temple of the Tidemistress for the remainder of the festival, which is spent feasting on seafood and drinking. When sleep is necessary during the feast, it is done on the floor or ground in or around the worship space.

Threlved is the creation of Sanshar. He brought her to Kornax during the Ascendancy of Dragons, and she has ruled the seas here ever since.
The Voyage of Cuncidamus
Calpian legends tell how Threlved (Tirelva, in their mythology) tried to swamp the ship which Cuncidamus sailed in as an infant, during his epic solo journey across the see from the far west. When the miraculous infant was able to hold the tiller in his tiny hand and guide the ship despite his age and stature, she relented because she was overcome with respect for the child.
