R̂oldavus Capibus returned to Biatia and led a second wave of conquest, this time in the region's western portion. He successfully subdued all the Biati save for their leaders, who had retreated to Apcotun. His campaign stalled as the Calpian forces had to put into place a siege. The attackers waited for four years. Three days before the city surrendered, Capibus suffered a fatal stroke and died, having never fully completed his conquest of Biatia, which was left to his successor, R̂oldavus Vous.
