Frostfell

"You truly do not understand cold until you've stepped foot in the Frostfell, it is the deepest and most soul-chilling of cold. Whatever you do, never stop moving, anything to keep you warm. 'Tis a cold so deep that ice itself freezes in that forsaken place."

The Frostfell, also known as the Plane of Cold, Plane of Ice or the Floating Plane is the elemental plane of endless ice and cold. It is one of if not the coldest place in the multiverse. Some believe that the Plane of Ice is actually a giant iceberg on the Plane of Water, most scholars believe it is a convergence of the Planes of Air and Water. The Plane can lead to the two that converge around it. Moving up could eventually lead one to the Plane of Air, while finding a way down could eventually lead one to the Plane of Water.
Even fire can be frozen here, it is actually something some spellcasters and even some eccentric collectors seek, Coldfire. A black flame that sheds cold in place of warmth. Scholars and adventurers that travel to the Plane of Ice are often well equipped with enchantments, magical items, and powerful technology or natural abilities to help them fend off the cold. The common item is a well-contained and secure Fireheart, a hard-sought physical remnant of a Fire Elemental.
