King Demetrius Ashglade II

King of Arcania, Defender of the South Kristofer Ashglade (a.k.a. The Unready; The Weak Ashglade; False King)

King Demetrius, Second of his Name, is the current King of Arcania. He took the throne after the death of his father, Demetrius, First of his Name. Demetrius was not meant to be king, his older sister, Leah, was being groomed her entire life to ascend before her mysterious disappearance one year before Demetrius I's death.
Most of the court call Demetrius II "The Unready" behind his back, a name that pushes him into a rage. Demetrius II's rule is...bland. Demetrius has done neither anything glorious or terrible. He doesn't understand the true ways to rule, doesn't understand the political game, and has poor diplomatic skills. Without his uncle, Cyrus Ashglade, Demetrius most likely would have been removed before he even finished climbing the steps to the throne.
After the rebellion led by Duke Lutrec Walkelin, all of the known members of Demetrius' family were slaughtered or forced to sign documents releasing any and all claims on their titles. Demetrius was murdered in the steps of his throne by Walkelin, before Walkelin shattered the throne with his famed Warhammer, Crownbreaker
