Lawspeaker Derek Krindlgadst
Lawspeaker of Cryllor Derek Krindlgadst (a.k.a. Law's Iron Hand)
Derek Krindlgadst is the current incumbent Lawspeaker over the Village of Cryllar. As Lawspeaker, Krindlgadst has complete say over enforcement of laws and policies within the County of Cryllar. Groomed for a position as a Lawspeaker, Krindlgadst was a Ranger Captain with Kimbertos Skotti in their youth, and had led over three-dozen successful raids or attacks against the Kingdom of Drang, Keoland's longtime rival. It was also Lawspeaker Krindlgadst that defeated Pirate Prince Axelrod Bladebane in single combat during the Battle of the Middle Strait in 433 AH.
Lawspeaker Krindlgadst is what many would call a "Hanging Judge," he rarely if ever gives a sentence less than the maximum punishment, any would-be criminals pray to the gods that Krindlgadst will allow a judgment to be made by a Junior Lawspeaker, but seldom is that prayer answered. The Lawspeaker upholds the Codes of Law of Keoland fervently, and rules over his land fairly, but with a stern hand. Many call him the Tyrant of Justice behind his back, but talking mockingly about a Keoish official is illegal, and many have found themselves imprisoned or worse for that kind of behavior toward the Lawspeaker, or even worse, the King himself.
Lawspeaker Krindlgadst was tragically murdered during the Fey Attack on Cryllor, when he was sacrificed in an underground temple known as The Blood Hall. Krindlgadst's successor is Lawspeaker Morton Skalitz.
