Rak Tulkhesh
Rage of War
Rak Tulkhesh, known as the Rage of War, is one of the Underlords that dwells in Korrisia. Rak Tulkhesh is always seen as the "youngest" (smallest) aspect of Kormund, which continues to fuel his rage. The Underlord controls the domains of Destruction and War, and is the incarnation of all impulses that drive mortals to battle. Fear, greed, hatred -- these are the seeds that the Rage of War sows in hopes of producing a bloody harvest.
Rak Tulkhesh typically takes the form of a vaguely draconic creature twisted by demonic rage. Covered in iron spikes protruding from his bleeding flesh, this overlord looms fifteen feet high at the shoulders, and his wings span over forty feet. While in combat, Rak Tulkhesh roars in rage as new weapons are spawned from his body, called forth by the Rage of War to slaughter all who dare stand before him.
In most recent histories, Rak Tulkhesh was freed by the Order of Calamity, a planar-spanning organization responsible for the release of the Archfey Andurian, the conflict between the Fey and the Prime Deities, and the resurrection of the Dead Three. After performing a perverted version of the Ritual of Returning, the cult sacrificed over two-hundred mortals to empower their dark magics, shattering the divine sigils locking the Underlord in place. Rak Tulkhesh burst from his tomb and immediately killed all mortals around him, including members of the cult. The Underlord immediately began consuming the life energy of his victims, until the Skywatchers attempted to confront him. Rak Tulkhesh was able to bind the souls of thousands of dead warriors, and manifest these forces on the Material Plane outside of Old Calemdar, where the armies of Korrisia united to halt his return.
Through vicious mortal combat, Rak Tulkhesh brought his full powers to bear against the brave heroes, who had heavily prepared themselves for this conflict. Unfortunately, due to not fighting at their full number, the Skywatchers were not enough to halt the malicious onslaught, and each of the heroes fell by Rak Tulkhesh's hand. After the battle, the Underlord burst from the ground where the combined forces of Calemdar and Arcanum had united to face the Underlord. Rak Tulkhesh massacred the army, ripping hundreds of soldiers to shreds, while filling others with the vile hatred of his father, turning them mad and sending them into a bloodthirsty rage. After a mere hour, both armies were gone. The small number of remaining witnesses watched as Rak Tulkhesh tore a hole open into the Astral Plane, and disappeared. Those that survived remember only one thing, a sickening and disturbing cackle that echoed throughout the battlefield.

Personal history
Rak Tulkhesh, like all of his siblings, was born out of the death of his "father" Kormund. At the very end of the War in Heaven, Kormund and Garnethar had each mortally wounded one another, forcing both to retreat to their fortresses. As Garenthar used the last of his essence to empower the Prime Deities, and protect what had been created, Kormund poured his hatred and essence into his "children," creating small aspects of himself. He started with Heirrath, and ended with Rak Tulkhesh. After Kormund faded, the Underlords, as they called themselves, immediately moved to continue their fathers' work. The Prime Deities, empowered by the creator god Garenthar, gave the Underlords no respite, and attacked form all angles, and endlessly. Eventually, each Underlord was tracked down and imprisoned, as they could not be truly destroyed by anyone save Garenthar.
Rak Tulkhesh used what moments he had to infect all mortal beings with his fathers' same bloodlust, his will to battle and do harm upon others, which taints all mortal races to this day. It was Serenrae who tracked Rak Tulkhesh down and did battle with him in the region that would now be known as the Calemdarian Continent. After heavily wounding Rak Tulkhesh, Serenrae shattered the earth, creating a deep chasm, and throwing the Rage of War into the deepest, darkest, corner before creating a massive temple-prison around him, and forcing him into an endless slumber. The site of this prison was covered, and left to never be found again. Hundreds of years later, the prison was found by the first Archmage of the College of Calemdarian Magic, who in attempts to continue to secure this prison, built the massive college overtop. This served two goals, the prison had immense magic flowing from it that the wizards could exploit, but they could also twist some of this magic into more developed protective barriers, to ensure Rak Tulkhesh never awoke.
These plans of course, never prepared for the arrival of one such as Imrys, who crushed Old Calemdar into the ground, destroying the city and the College of Magic. Though it was rebuilt, it was relocated and the wizards' magic was not present to continue protecting it, resulting in the Cult of the Bloody Knives discovering the hidden site, and eventually releasing Rak Tulkhesh back into the world to continue his fathers' bloody work once more.
