Regency Council of Keoland
The Regency Council of Keoland, more often known simply as the Council of Keoland, is the current ruling body of Keoland. The Regency Council was assembled in response to King Kimbertos Skotti's sudden illness. After several weeks of sickness that no Priest or Cleric could find the cure for, King Skotti collapsed at his throne after a long day of court. Barely responsive, King Skotti was declared incapable by the Court Physician.
Several of the members are high-ranked lords and powerful merchants who stepped forward to nominate themselves. It's said these members called in almost every favor they had, and were all named as members of the Council. Those that they saw as barriers were quickly removed, either by random and frantic "resignation" further "sickness" and even "tragedies."
