Tulak'Drakul, Emissary of the Void
Tulak'Drakul, Emissary of the Void or known to most simply as The Emissary was a powerful and dangerous force of pure chaotic magic that manifested during the Time of Troubles, and was one of the main nemeses of The Glade Guardians. The Emissary had one task, to prepare for the arrival of The Ruinous Powers. The Emissary was called upon when Lord Ludleth Corland had gathered the pages from the Book of Madness and discovered the location of "The Door" but had also discovered that the book was necessary in the ritual to call forth the Emissary.
Tulak'Drakul was summoned during the climactic battle between Ludleth Corland, his minions, and the Glade Guardians. While Ludleth and his servant Zeketh were slain, Tulak'Drakul was able to leave the site and begin working in the shadows to slowly bring about the Gods of Chaos. The Emissary's first objective was to spread the powers of Chaos throughout the world, by empowering raiders and bandits, manipulating the minds of the weak, and spreading disease and death, this would empower the Four to be able to break through the barrier of The Door and flood out into the Material Plane, turning it into another Plane of Chaos.
The Emissary's plans would be foiled on several fronts, the Glade Guardians were its primary focus and enemy, but through their actions, two more major players would join the battlefield, Imrys and Vecna. Knowing that all three forces had to die, Tulak'Drakul waited for them to engage in battle before attempting to sweep in and kill all three birds with one proverbial stone.
During the Battle of Alvendar & The Silver Tower, Tulak'Drakul engaged the Glade Guardians, Imrys, and Vecna all at once. The four sides battled viciously, Guardians fell to reality shattering spells, the Dracolich roared in rage, and Vecna seethed with frustration as the entirety of the world's fate rested in the hands of the winner, three quarters of those battling would make the world a darker realm, with the underdogs being the Glade Guardians, attempted to keep the world in the light. Eventually, with a powerful banishment spell against the Emissary, it was dragged from the Silver Tower across the Great Middle Sea, onto the Middle Continent down into the Temple of the Void and back through the Door, sealing it forever.
