Abrians

Abrians are the most common human race in Korun. They are very adaptive to climate and lyfestyle and that has helped them grow in such large numbers. Their origins are the hills of Abria a region close north of the Dessert in the Main Continent that now is known as the wilderness. Abrian characteristics are not dominant and that makes them irrecogniable from other tribes after a couple of generations. Because of this particularity all humanoids usualy ignore the other ones race since he is probably of Abrian inheretance.

Culture

Culture and cultural heritage

Abrians are no longer a unity and therefore do not posses any comon traditions among them. However they are known to be the first to grow crops and herd animals and generaly being the most comunicative and social human race. Towns mosly inhabited by them almost certainly will have plenty of cultural events, usualy cirling around seasonal events or customary occations. They are not very spiritual but they value greatly social afairs such as mariages, births or coming of ages.
Abrians love to eat meat and generaly their diet is closely bound to the existence of heard animals nearby. Their metabolism however is programmed for harder times. This leads to Abrians beening a bit fat when exposed to a comfortable lyfestyle withought need for hunt or physical effort.
They are the first race to organise military and authorities and are exeptional in such organisations. They are not very fit however for more spiritual roles and usualy from their ranks the faithfull do not posses magical powers.

Common Myths and Legends

The first city of Korun, Travaar is known to have been founded by Abrian travelers. Legent has it that their Leader has very young to have been leader but his predecesor died unexpectantly. The young leader Morian was unsure of how to honor him and still led corectly. As doubt began to rise and several oponents seemed to want his place he commaded the traveling to stop for a day to honor and grief for the late Leader.
As the people were resting he one by one appoached the rising oppponents and besoued uppon them a seperate tast in a different close by location. He cleverely distributed the land and the tasks in order to make his opponents start compete with eachother. By the end of the day all of the tasks where finished and the camp was a much safer and comportable one thatn what they had slept in since months.
This led to the shapping of Travaar as a city and up to this day that day is Celebrated as the founding day and Leader Morian is conidered the first Politician of Korun.
